AEG Worldwide is a live sports and entertainment company. We host several festivals, sporting events, concerts, and entertainment franchises across the world. My mission is to design for the shows and events hosted at their Crypto.com Arena, Microsoft Theater, and L.A. Live venues.
One of the biggest shows we had booked at Crypto.com Arena in 2021, was Kendrick Lamar's "Mr. Morale And The Big Steppers" Tour. There was a total of 4 show nights and I was assigned as the lead graphic designer. My task was to create all of the venue's graphic assets for the show, ranging from printed materials, digital signage, and social media graphics.
For inspiration for his graphic assets, I mainly used his tour ad and album's themes to gather inspiration in creating fan engagement pieces such as the show poster, fan photo-ops, and social media posts. I was also in charge of creating artist recognition graphics to welcome back Mr. Lamar to his home town of Los Angeles.
Russell Peters had returned in 2021 for another comedy stand up tour show, "Act Your Age" at the Microsoft Theater. I was assigned to create his fan engagement graphics and also his welcome-back gift.
I decided to make a youthful and fun oriented poster and graphics for him and his fans which plays off his tour's theme and rhetoric. For this project I used both, traditional graphic design and illustrations mediums to create these graphics and I was honored that he greatly appreciated everything that was made for him.
*Due to NDA clauses and restrictions, there are some graphic materials such as office documents, on-boarding packets, social media advertisements, and other show graphic pieces that I can not post on my website. However upon request I can send a separate PDF file of those projects.
